Summer Read-A-Thon Day #9: THE CHEERLEADERS

What an absolute GEM this book is. It's twisty and thrilling and my heart was actually racing as I read the last thirty or so pages. I loved the main character, Monica, from the very first page, and the book kept me enthralled throughout. There wasn't just one mystery in the book, but rather several that kept me guessing at every turn. Definitely one of the very best YA mysteries I've ever read!

Summer Read-A-Thon Day #34: THE SECOND LIFE OF AVA RIVERS

Twelve years ago, Ava Rivers disappeared on Halloween night. So when Ava's family gets a call saying that she's been found, they're elated. But soon, Ava's sister, Vera, starts spending more time with her, and realizes some things aren't adding up. Overall, I just wasn't a fan of this one and couldn't connect to it, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Summer Read-A-Thon Day #36: THICKER THAN WATER

I...have a lot of mixed feelings about this book. I liked the characters and I was super interested in the plot and finding out what happened. But the reveal was very odd and I feel like it didn't work at all. I'd say skip this one and read Brigid Kemmerer's other contemporaries, because they're much better than this one.
